So What'll Bush Do During His Second Term?

As I've posted umpteen times already, Bush is going to win. At first I said by a landslide but now it's going to be a comfortable lead.

What'll you think he'll do? Will he march into Iran and Syria to finish up his 'War on Terrorism'?

Will his relentless pressure on Al Quaeda squash terrorist attacks once and for all?

    Will the economy rebound?

    Business as usual:

Bush Bypasses Senate, Makes Recess Appointments
    Sunday, August 01, 2004

WASHINGTON ? President Bush (search) on Friday announced his intention to make 20 appointments during the congressional recess, including a new chairman of the Federal Trade Commission (search), a manufacturing czar and three ambassadors.

For FTC chairman, Bush is appointing Deborah Majoras of Virginia to replace Timothy J. Muris, who is stepping down after three years. Majoras, a former Justice Department deputy assistant attorney general, was one of the lead attorneys in the government's antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft Corp.

Majoras' nomination had been blocked in the Senate by Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., who said there was no evidence she would change FTC policies that benefit oil companies and hurt consumers. By making the appointment during the congressional recess, Bush avoids the need for Senate confirmation.

In a statement, Wyden said he hoped "that this undemocratic process for naming a new chair won't result in consumers being hammered with high gas prices again and again."

Jon Leibowitz of Maryland will be appointed to another seat on the five-member FTC. Majoras and Leibowitz, like the other recess appointees, will serve until the end of 2005.

Bush is also appointing Albert Frink Jr. of California as assistant secretary of commerce for manufacturing and services. Bush's first pick for the manufacturing post, Nebraska business executive Tony Raimondo, was criticized for cutting U.S. jobs and shifting work to China.

Lots more semi-coherent sentences...he's easily the worst public speaker (as presidents go) of the last 60 years.
Arguing whether the Democratic or Republican party is better is like debating which steaming pile of shit is slightly less stinky.

Where do you get your information, Fox news.

Look it up, he didn't win. This is all a really bad nightmare and we will wake up in January and realise it when Kerry is in office.

No, I don't think that even matters too much....He's just doing his best to repeat what the teleprompter is telling him to say ;)

He'll finish selling out your country to big business, run up a few trillion more in debt, and get assassinated.

What's scarier is the robot-like mentality of the present military and vets I know.

They're all gung-ho Bush like I've never seen before. Normally my guys would beef and argue all day, now they're like,

                          " Bush--Is---Cool---Master---Bush---Will---Win---"

I've never seen shit like this before.

I think they're putting something in the eggs again on the chow line.
