    Why does everyone who is new to GFY.......

    has to tell us about it?

    Seriously, why can't you just start posting?

    If you can post some intelligent things, you will get noticed, if not - your "Hi, I am new here" thread will be forgotten the next day anyway.

                          There are like 10k people here, sorry, no disrespect but noone will remember your nick anyway after your first thread.

                          And to answer bluff's question - when i come to a party and there're 12 people there but i only know 4 of them, then sure, I do introduce myself, but on a message board - never, especially if it's as big as GFY

                                      No disrespect taken but I believe if you introduce yourself and then follow up with some useful info then you will be remembered and it's good for business especially if you are planning on posting a lot...But for those who only post a few times it really doesn't matter I guess....
