I believe that I do have a solution for you. I just closed it this week. It's in the EU however, (western Europe), but it's a large, established bank, the rates are VERY VERY good, and they can write accounts for
Gaming,
Adult,
Travel,
Tobacco,
Dating,
e-wallet,
Pharma,
etc....

Set up takes approx 4 weeks, and there is a $500 full application fee which is refunded if you are approved. The due dilligence is very extensive, but if your "house is in order" it should work out fine.

lol, that was a serious question :P Aside from playboy, I don't believe i've seen an adult site that doesn't use a 3rd party biller

Wow. Lots of people have them. Way more versatile, but more upkeep and fine tuning.

Yeah i agree, i just never understood why it was so rare to see them in adult sites, whilst most mainstream sites accepting money have them

AFN - I can help you out with a merchant account for just about anything you need including phone sex lines. BTW - I NEVER work with a bank that requires fees/payments before your application gets pre-qualified.

pstation - Originally 3rd party processing was the way to go because vendors didn't have to worry about cb ratios etc .. it was kinda like a 'one-stop-shop' to get your processing.
Now that 3rd party processors have made the vendor be responsible for their own chargeback ratios, vendors are realizing they are paying for services they can handle on their own and save HUGE amounts.
More and more adult vendors are moving over to their own merchant accounts everyday.
