Some people just don't get it. GFY (and boards like it) have one main purpose, and that's to sell advertising.
They generally don't give a shit about what's said or who posts what just as long as traffic goes up. Of course there are a bunch of pussies on the boards so they need to have some rules to make the pussies feel safe. But the bottom line is, drive up the traffic and charge more for advertising.
The prupose of the post.
A post is designed for 2 things:
1) to keep the advertisments from crashing into each other.
2) to advertise the sig for free.
That's it. That's the whole point. All we do is create posts to keep the ads from crashing.
So, when I hear people bitching about banning pimpdog, or complaining about news threads, or whatever they bitch about. I have to pause and think, "well this cock smoker just doesn't see the point of the board."
So, instead of letting you morons (and you know who you are) figure it out on your own, I figured I'd have to explain it to you.
And now that I write this out, I guess the post does have a 3rd function. It gives people a false sense of community. It lets the nerds feel like they belong to something. When really all they belong to is a banner farm with text in between the ads.

When I first got on this board it wasnt as bad as it was now but I agree no one cares as long as the ads are paid for.
