any vampire movie fans?

im a huge fan of movies like Blade and Underworld

can you recommend some others? I scan shelves for hours looking for some but cant really find much.

not really into the old stuff, just high quality movies.

i saw a preview for a new one thats coming out, forgot the name though.

PS, Van Helsing doesnt count lol

I LOVE vampire movies. The Orginal Dracula with Bela Lugosi is a good a classic

Also Fracis Ford Coppola's Dracula with Winona Ryder (as Mina that's how I thiought of my porn name so to speak)

the first blade was a real blade with revolutionary new soundtracks (which are good in film only) etc, but the 2 is less impressive. don't know what they are going to put in that 3d one. the trailer looks alittle childish yet

Believe it or not, I actually taught a college course on vampire mytholgy as a grad student at UT. My all time favorite vampire flick is 'Fearless vampire Killers', by Roman Polanski. Sexy, funny, and scary. The exact right mix of all three elements. A total classic, IMHO. The only drawback is seeing the beautiful Sharon Tate in the movie and thinking how it would be the last film she made before the Manson family brutally murdered her (and her unborn child).
