        I'm not "afraid" of the dentist, I just hate going because I've had several "bad" dental experiences in my life. Like the dumb fuck dentist not using enough Novacaine before starting a root canal and then not stopping to inject some more after I made it very clear I was in severe pain, etc. etc.
        So, I have trust issues with dentists...I don't trust that they'll make sure I'm numb before they start working on me....it's all about control.

            I have an unreasonable fear of going to the dentist and have not seen one since 1980.

            I have to go in on the 11th and get my wisdom teeth removed.

            They gave me some valium to take the night before and the morning of.
            I was looking for a job, and then I found a job
            And heaven knows I'm miserable now

                                            That happened to me too Except there was NO doubt that I wasnt numb because as soon as the grinder hit the tooth I burst into a streaming sweat and couldnt hold back yelling.. the freaking assistant almost burst into tears in empathy.. She just grabbed my head and was hugging it until I could see straight again...

                                            fuck that was a horrible experience..

                                                        i just went today... this guy ive been going to since i was a kid... he looks jus like dr. jack kevorkian... see on fridays he practices at his crib instead of his office in the city.,,, so at his crib he has all this old school shit, everytime i go in there i feel like im living in the 50's. I had to get a tooth drilled cuz of a fuckin cavity i got so i got a filling. I didnt care so much about the pain, i just hated the fucking smell that drill makes when its drillin my tooth away. Makes me gag

                                                                last time i went to the dentist it was to get my wisdom teeth removed

                                                                after i got the injection and one tooth was out i got up to take some water i fell back down (passed out) and one of my legs went up knocking down a bunch of equipment
                                                                then while she grabbed my tongue to prevent me from swallowing it, my jaw blocked and her finger was blocked between my teeth

                                                                then like a minute later i was getting better again
                                                                everything was black

                                                                she asked if i had epileptic attacks ... fuck no, never had that
                                                                she called my doctor and he said he heard about it before and that she probably injected at a wrong place or used to much...
                                                                they were fighting over the phone as she has been a dentist for over 20 years and knows her stuff bla bla bla ... funny

                                                                now she doesn't want to do the other one anymore ... and to be honest i'm not really looking forward to get it done after what happened.
