William Shatner singing "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" has got to be one of the most appalling performances of all time. "Una Paloma Blanca" could qualify as one of the most irritating, not because the lyrics were a whole lot worse than plenty of others, just that when it was in the charts, it seemed like nothing else got air time.
Speaking of bloody silly lyrics, Al Jolson's "The Spaniard who blighted my life" has to be right up there...
