i would say these are very shortsighted and immature arguments and i keep seeing them again and again.

the real question to you would then be; "would you bet 250,000.00 on defense lawyers, 100,000 in fines and 5 years in prison that the federal prosecutors will agree with you"

"legal" is a question of interpretation. the laws are new and ultimately, "legal" will be determined in a court of law. and furthermore, "legal" will probably be defined at the expense of someone making such arguments.
