Wow, can you give a girl a break? I admit, I did NOT read this entire thread, but:

When I was lucky enough to get the chance to start as a "noob" I didn't know what the hell an FPA was. I got locked in a room with about 100 pages from Cozy Academy and learned all about TGP's, PPS, Etc. And even AFTER all of the hours I put in to reading, I still had to ask for help in the beginning. I now work for a sponsor and run a few of my own sites. I do not and never will claim to know it all, but I now know:


PPS, revshare, conversion ratios, the difference between unique and qualified hits, exit consoles, value of PPC and SE traffic, I can write unique text ads that convert, I can create banners (although I am not a designer by trade, but I can hold my own), link lists, MPG's, fraud control, track traffic to identify if a certain site is converting better on certain traffic, how billing process works, etc....

Oh, and my HTML and VBcode sucks! We all have our faults.

I have plenty to learn, but if you have to start somewhere. What I did not learn while not at the office at my previous job--I asked and I am now employed by someone that is teaching me even more. I listen to any and every bit of useful information anyone gives me and at the very least provide the best possible customer service to our clients. (If there is a question I can't answer, I do not fluff through it, I ASK my peers, I don't make up an answer. I'm older so I obviously did not get hired on looks, but because someone is pretty, doesn't mean they can't make their way in this industry and gain the respect of the people they deal with. Some people like me. some don't ..... I can't please everyone..... I would rather have people hate me for who I am instead of liking me for what I'm not. I love this biz, I've had plenty of chances to get out and I simply don't want to.














We all have to start somewhere.


With all of this said, I am always open to learn new things, for example 12 clicks and ill have given me invaluable advice. If you have any, bring it on, the more I know the better I'll be.

I have enjoyed many of your posts. There is no problem with being new and all. Even Sleazy was new at one time. OK, maybe he wasn't?

It's the attitude that comes with it. It is a lot to read now. If you did read the pages and other threads, maybe you would see why some have a problem.

One of the problems in spending a ton of time on a board is that you can be friends with two people and they hate each other. That makes a line to walk sometimes. Hate to take sides.

I try not to lash out or flame, but I did in this one. Shemp manages to always stay above the arguments. Wish I had is ability. Ok, I'd rather have the money I perceive he makes. LOL.

1. I would not have posted a pic of myself in the first place.
2. I would make sure I read every tutorial and talked to every person in the industry that knew anything to learn it all.
3. If a thread like this was created about me...I would have posted the following:

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect people who are willing to voice thiers and stand by their convictions. I am very aware that I may not know as much as most of the people in this industry. I do have brains and conviction though and I hope to prove to everyone exactly what I am capable of. There will always be people that think I was only hired for my looks and as I said before they can have their opinions, but I hope each webmaster takes the time to get to know me and base their opinion solely on our business interactions and not base it on the opinions expressed by others.

I personally have nothing against you. Who a program hires is their business and not mine. You should know by now, webmasters will be webmasters and they will have thier say and there will always be drama...but you on the other hand should have remained professional because this is your job and you want it to appear that you take it seriously.

I dont recall anyone joining this board and seeking attention for the one or another reason without turning against him later on.
