Ok the situation..........

A 25 year old guy has a mate that has been seeing this girl for 6 months. This girl has a 16 year old daughter (nearly 17). The 17 year old daughter is attracted to the 25 year old guy and visa versa. It it really wrong for the 25 year old guy to see this girl on a romantic level? IN canada this isnt a problem, as long as the guy is not in a position of authority over the 16 year old he can be 35 or more, just not a teacher, cop etc.

Canada obviously needs to re think these laws. 16-35 is still fucking sick. What on gawds green earth would a 16 year old have in common with a 35 year old? Well unless the 35 year old had a 16 year old mentality of course, in which case it's still sick.

Now 17 - 25 is not that big of an age difference. However, it depends on the girl as well. Where she is at mentally, whether or not she has had sexual relations in the past...really hard to say.

Wether its "right or wrong" is a moot issue. There is, and never will be an absolute answer to that question. According to nature, it's probably "right"... but we as humans love to buck our own natural tendencies. (wear clothes, shave, hide sexuality, list goes on.)

The better question is, will people percieve it as right or wrong.

Answer is yes, they will think its wrong and chastize him.

Therefore, I say, he stay himself out of trouble and wait a few years. 18 is pretty much the safe age level. (and really, probably better off for the guy anyways to wait for her to mature even more).

To me it depends on the personalities involved because I've met alot of 16 yr old girls who were smoking. If you're talking about maturity levels that are the same then hey go for it if its legal where you're at. I can't stand to talk to them personally.
