Actually I have a PR7 with zero backlinks, but at least it's indexed.
PR is not an exact science by any stretch. Not surprising people are seeing so many different results

It's a scam guys, people do it all the time. If he was smart, he'd have spoofed a PR6 site or something as to not look suspicious. If you want to know how it is done, I'll show you, but a Google search on faking PR should pull up the trick.

If you do believe the guy, I'll sell you unlimited PR10 domains at the next update. :-)
