Solution to the 2257 shit and models privacy

    just thought of this

how about content producers are not allowed to sell content or give out the 2257 docs to anyone that does not have a coorporation registered within the US?

or something along those lines....and basically, to get content and the 2257 docs the content producer has to have the tax id or some sort of proof of incoorporation that can be looked up in the gov database?

this is just a thought off the top of my head, discuss and tear it apart

A lot of people don't incorporate. Not a smart thing, but true.
They could only sell to owners of adult domains.

Thats a great idea Also for affiliates also if a affiliate is making more than $500 a month they should incorporate. Tax id number mean no more having to deal with 1099's

We will continue to sell content with the contact details blurred out. Anyone wants documents with contact details best buy from someone else.

I think if this is implemented it will devestate this industry in the US, all that will be left are a few big players and non US.

I totally agree with the contact details being blocked out, with Czech & Hungarian passports there is no address, but on the signature page of a UK passport there is the address of the person to contact in case of emergency, usually the parents with phone number, can you imagine giving out the girls parents details to every idiot.

As for the model release proving the shoot date, (which it doesn't) what if the girl is holding the front page of a well known newspaper (see the date) with her id's.
Or she could be wiping her arse with the front page of "times" while holding the id's in the other hand.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I'm amazed at how many people buy content from me, but never return the license... The license is to protect THEM, so I don't understand the mentality. But what if to get the documentation, you require the license to be returned, and then verify certain details (they own the domain, it is active, etc.)? It might be a small step towards limiting the distribution of documentation to those that have a confirmed business presence, even if not incorporated.

Of course that idea and even the incorporating one makes the unrealistic assumption that all business owners are responsible and ethical. But it might be a start.

where your servers are located has nothing to do with anything when it comes to the law - it's where YOU reside that counts, even an offshore company doesn't protect you, if u don't want to be subject to anti-porn, anti-gambling, anti-spam laws u have to move yourself to a new country.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

It's absurdly easy to incorporate in the US. RUNNING a corporation is one thing, actually registering one is quite simple. It's a good thought on your part, but it really wouldn't do anything to protect the models.
