That's how rap was born. When rap started back in the day it was a DJ spinning a record and someone rapping over it. Most rappers rapped over a rock, disco, or soul record. ok but why do they seem so proud of what they do? they dont do anything musically complex like play a guitar or piano.
their only talent is in their lyrics and vocals and perhaps they even mix/create/produce their own music.
