Been on the wait list for the C6 Z06 for just over 2 years now.
The S54 engine in the M3 is beautiful, but the whole car seemed to stray from what I liked in the E36.
I can agree that the E46 is infinitely more attractive than the E36 but aesthetics are way down on the list of my priorities when car shopping. I'd rock a garbage can on wheels all day long if I had a fun time driving it.
