When will the FTC start censoring the internet??

Sooner or later cable and internet are going to be one - meaning that the internet will be the backbone for broadcasting TV shows, and we all know the government will no way in hell let streaming broadcasts through the internet be uncensored when it starts providing the broadcasts to the TV.

What are your thoughts? Censorship on the internet or will it be impossible for them to do this? We have a really interesting few years ahead of us.

Depending on the country, it's already beyond capable; it's possible now in CLOSED, CONTROLLED enviorments. Don't delude yourself into thinking otherwise.

However, there's relatively little call, and virtually no ability to do so. Even if the US decides to take all of the huge bell operations by force - they won't manage.

in order for this to go mainstream the major TV manufactures will need to start integrating internet connections into the back of TV's in addition to the regular cable connection, or they could possibly use the regular coaxial cable just like for broadband internet.

In addition they would need to add a few more circuit boards, memory, and data storage within the tv so it can process the data recieved from the internet to stream live audio/video and broadcasts.

On the other end of the spectrum (the internet side) we are practically ready to start doing this! So the ball really lies in the tv manufacturers court right now.
