Can anyone here recommend a good tube-like script?

I am looking for a YouTube clone for an upcoming project with a friend revolving around DIY auto repair. I need full access to the code so I can customize it for our needs.

It doesn't need to be Flash embedded video but I suppose that would be a plus.

Has anyone bought anything online that you can recommend? I have done several searches and have found some pretty decent turnkey solutions but when I search user reviews I hear good and bad.

Even something if you have something custom or laying around I might be interested.

Also, we do not want to pay a boatload of money for it (It doesn't need to be too involved).

I don't call my script a youtube clone because it doesn't do the community thing or allow the upload of videos.

You can customize templates to determine your sites look and fucntion but editing the actuall code is not allowed.

You can try it for free with no obligation to see if it does what you are looking for.

I appreciate the bump but I am unsure if you read my post before responding. Your script does nothing that I need it to do? I need a script that I can actually upload content to an customize.

Do you have a solution or recommendation for me that I can use? If not thanks for the bump anyways.

You said nothing about "needing" user upload.

In any event it wouldn't take much to add that.
It's not like uploading is some kind of secret technology.

I could make the script do everything you want but you had the caveat of not wanting to pay any money, so I offered what I had.

I can also Google. I am looking for a reputable recommendation. What the hell am I missing around here? Do people just post to post? I don't get it

I can tell you right now to stay away from videoshare - it's a POS. I'm pretty sure clipshare is a very close relative of videoshares too.

Haven't tried phpmotion but heard it is quite good. There is a script called rayzz out there that is quite bloated but seems to work quite well.

To be honest if I were you then i'd be inclined to find someone to code exactly what you want. I do currently use rayzz but wouldn't recommend anyone using them - support is non existant and there are many bugs with the script.

I am not bitching at all. I asked for a recommendation and you threw me a list of the top 3 that pop up in a search on Google (As I stated I have already done). Fine you used one (you never stated which) and you RECOMEND 2 others you haven't tried? TubelessTube is the best YouTube clone script that exists. Too bad it's tubeless and does not tube very good.

If your budget is more than $5k, then go with something custom... otherwise just buy a videoshare script and you are done.
