as you know, older domains that were originally built to generate large amounts of traffic from altavista, excite, etc., and haven't been touched in a long time, are more likely to be disliked by google --- these get most of their traffic from yahoo.
if they weren't hyphenated, they'd obviously be better names and worth more, but they are what they are - i bought them several years ago from a friend who was getting out of the business, and with the exception of one group of them, i haven't touched them. i know i'm not the only one who's done just fine with hyphenated names, particularly with yahoo :-)
