What satisfaction do you get out of working in this industry?

All monetary gains aside, does working in this industry make you happy? Do you find it to be rewarding work? Are you passionate about your work? If not, what is your true passion and why aren't you making a living from that?

So besides the money in the bank aspect of working in online porn, what motivates you to keep pursuing this as a career?

I don't enjoy it at all, but for health reasons I can only work at a home-based business and I doubt there is any other I could have neglected so badly for so long, yet still be making money from it.

This is the first time in 35 years that I am selling something for which I am not a customer. That means I have to guess at what people want, which has pretty much confined me to generic porn. I also miss talking to customers and observing them, because that always gave me so many ideas.

And basically I'm a concepts person and an organizer/manager. But these days I have to be a jack-of-all-trades, which is both tedious and - because I spend a lot of time on some things and still cannot reach the standards I would like - frustrating.

I got started in this biz when I was about 15-16. It was great then... money came easily and it was FUN. I could fuck around on my computer all day and get a check in the mail the next week.

But as time went on and I got older, I found it harder to keep myself on schedule. I'd find myself sitting at my computer for hours and accomplishing absolutely nothing. I was still paying the bills but I was just so fucking burnt out from being on my computer all the time I almost couldn't stand to look at it.

That's why I went out and got myself a regular job (my first ever) so I can see how much better this is and maybe it'll keep me on track more whenever I jump back into the game... which now seems like it might be a while because of all this new 2257 shit.

I can't believe I typed all of this shit while my beers getting warm.. so.. that's it

I do this because I really love it! I get the chance to work with some really cool people, and I also get to meet people from all around the world that in any other job I wouldnt get to meet!

I guess I just like porn, because I am passionate about what I do and I want to keep going with it

Ok, assuming I had an alternative that offered the same freedom and finacial perks, I still don't think I'd switch..the people in this biz are some of the most interesting, colorful folks I've ever worked with. It's fucking fun-I went to my first show this year, and hey, let's face it, checking out nude hotties isn't such a bad thing, either, lol.
