AWS is worth the investment of $140. I made my money back quickly when I followed their instructions. You could probably pick up the techniques by browsing the boards but Phil and the AWS instructors show you how to do the basics and are there for you when you need some help. I think they provide a good starting point for someone wanting to get into this biz.
