    How can you burn dvd VOB files?

    anyone know? the vob, the bups, the ifo files...

    how can you burn them to a dvd?

    Nero 6 can, I guess any Burner program that can make a DVD...

      yeah, just burn the video and audio directories onto the dvd and the dvd player will take care of the rest.

        and select the file

          How do you backup a DVD movie? You copy the files onto your HD then burn those files using Nero? That's it?

            go download 'dvd shrink'

            click open disk and it loads the dvd into a temp folder

            then click backup, and it burns a copy

                yes and no... generally, blank dvd's are only 4.5 gigs or so, which is considerably smaller than a DVD movie. Which means it won't all fit.

                But you can get pieces of it done, or get the bigger dvds.

                          dude... load up DVD Shrink..
                          Click the big "Open Files" button.
                          Browse to the folder all your shit is in.
                          let it scan.
                          reauthor (via the big reauthor button) if necessary and/or to dump unnecessary trailers/audio tracks/and other bullshit...
                          click backup.
