Did you notice that one of the actors also stars in the 1st one - where she dies... In the sequal she just plays a different role

I had to watch the 1st and only Starship Troopers movie the following day, just to get back in a good mood about it...

the 2nd one never went to theaters, it was so shitty they couldnt release it.

It's really a bad movie, I thought how could it be bad but it was.

So... it´s safe to say that I was pretty excited to learn that the sequal was released on DVD... I went to BlockBuster and picked it up ( I even called in advance and had them put it aside for me )

Got home and hooked the projector and surround up, cause I was about to enter deep space and splatter me some bug... "The only good bug, is a dead bug"...

I hit the play button, and that´s when the excitement dropped to the floor...

What a big pile of fucking money making pimpin ho ass butt fucking BS... the people behind that sequal should be caught in a big net...

Didn't you noticed that the Captain of the Starship in the First Starship Trooper was the same chick in the second one. The lesbian captain chick that took all the drugs to save the day at the end.. Man was this movie shit.. But I think Van Dame in Hell is still the worst I have seen..

Direct to video releases are the mark of death. Same thing happened to Dusk Till Dawn 2, although it was still kinda entertaining, just nothing like the original.

That's too bad... remember the 'Highlander' sequels? They did release them in theatres and man... what a pile of crap! Course you could say the same for the Matrix sequels too.

I was greatly disappointed too.
The first movie is a huge favorite of mine and sequel was a major letdown...no returning actors, no returning crew members....hell, not even so much as a cameo by Neil Patrick Harris.

I didn't think it was a total dogturd of a movie, but it wasn't that good either. For me, it was solidly in the middle.

Half of my DVD collection consists of straight to dvd titles....most are enjoyable fun, but this one was just very disappointing...I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either......

I liked the first one quite a bit myself too but I was warned away from this one. Seems like that is a pretty popular opinion and I'm glad I haven't watched it.

Yeah and they call it special effects. Special'ed fects is more like it. Some of the scenes were just to dark to see detail. Horrible movie and a waste of money for sure.
