Anyone else using Panchodog for AVS?

Were you using their content in a tour and not linking them or something? That is weird.

so you were using Panchos free webmaster content to create an AVS site? then you would get the AVS revenue for yourself, but have an upsell link to Panchodog in the AVS members area?

I'm pretty new to this, so I'm not really sure how I f-ed up. I used their content for a foot fetsh AVS site-and pushed them all the way-no other sponsor whatsoever. Maybe that's the problem-I didn't link to them from outside the member's area, I don't think. Most AVS systems I thought had issues with that, so I didn't. I of course would have no problem adding a link outside the protected area, but I wasn't asked to, I was asked to remove their content from my member's area.
I responded that I would be pulling it within the day, but I wouldn't be promoting their sites if I couldn't use AVS. I am a parent, and i like the content I use to be protected in some way, and credit card auth is the most secure at this time. Not to mention that everyone is always bitching about too much free pron.

Is there a problem with that? I didn't expect to get much, if any AVS sales, but more important to me was marketing to people who already have that AVS membership-they've been proven to have a CC and use it for adult entertainment. I've even seem a few sponsors encourage it, so I thought it was standard, and Panchodog's site had no terms prohibiting it.
I am in no way trying to be a smart-ass...if I made a faux-pas, please explain it to me so I don't do it again, and understand why.

Well first you should email a sponsor to ask first about anything not mentioned on their site. If they are professional they will respond to you. But second you always need to link a sponsor if you use their content. From all pages you use the content that is.

And you need to use an avs system that allows sponsor links on the tour, or use your own content instead.

I had mad links inside the members area...and I don't think just adding a link outside would satisfy them or wouldn't they have said so?
In any case, now I have to find a foot fetish sponsor with free content pronto to replace what I had up, or else have all those linklists pissed at me, right?

Don't use them. There are plenty of sponsors who love that juicy AVS traffic.

If they don't want surfers who:

a) have credit cards

and

b) have bought porn in the past

...fuck 'em. Move on to another sponsor who will work with you.

Someone was nice enough to alert us about this thread.

In the future, it would be a better idea to talk to us personally, given
the fact that it IS our program and i doubt anyone on GFY could help
you in that regard.

Many times, things can get quite confusing or misleading
on the boards.

At anyrate, here is our comment on this particular subject:

We do not have any problem with promotion from an AVS site.
We DO have a problem, when the AVS site is using ONLY our content
both on the OUTSIDE and the INSIDE (member's area) which is very
misleading.

This has happened in the past and we have had complaints from members
because of this:
They sign up to the AVS site, thinking (in this case) they
will get access to BFTGIRLS and lo and behold they are getting something else.
And will have to sign up yet again to see the REST of the BFTGIRLS content.

What you NEED to do, is purchase nonexclusive content (or exclusive - which ever
is in your budget) to create the 'TOUR' of your AVS and then CLARIFY that they will
HAVE to sign up again to gain access to the REST of the series/site in addition to having
MORE material inside your members area. It REALLY is a good idea to offer these people
more than a couple of galleries.

IN a nutshell, we FELT that YOUR site in particular was misleading in that it APPEARS
it is BFTGIRLS.COM and in the end, you will get access to THAT site.

Point taken, and I appreciate the response...I was not trying to slam you guys in ANY way...I think the program rocks, you guys are very cool, the sites are hot, the girls are stunners, and so on. I just wondered if anyone else was doing the same as I was, and what the difference was between my site and theirs.
I understand your point about the consumers' confusion, and I would definitely rather change my site to meet your suggestions than drop Panchodog as a sponsor!

For me, if I'm using my own content in the AVS tour, I'd rather upsell to my own paysites inside.

When I use sponsor content, I find posting a screenshot of the sponsor site with a big text link saying, "All content provided by Sponsor.com. Click here to see more!" works well.

That's a great idea....I'll ask when I speak with Izzy again if I can do that. I really, really love their sites, so I'll do what it takes to work with them. They're so fresh and energetic, and it comes across in your site if you really dig your sponsor.

Go for it! If your business model is building a daily AVS site & pushing traffic to your AVS hub, then you want to find sponsors that are easy to work with for AVS.

If you want to work with lots of different traffic sources & one sponsor, then stick with 'em. Free sites, TGP, MGPs, top lists, SEs...there are tons of ways to get traffic. All depends on what you want to do!
