Well my mom and her mom used to speak like Ladino when we were young so we couldn't understand them.
My Grandpa left Rhodos before the germans came and came to Seattle. Met my grandma and then had my mom, etc.

The temple in rhodes is like 1200 yrs old. The thousands of jews who left in the war, only 2 came back to live (those that survived), I met 1 of them. like 90 or so.
I will never forget that trip
