We stayed there in April, it was just $89 Cdn per night for a top-floor room with balcony and etc.. and it's right in the heart of downtown (not a great area - druggies and the like, but the hotel is pretty nice)

The wife already beat me to it and booked the Westin weeks ago on my card..
She didnt even do any reasearch.. Just called 411 asked for a Westin in BC, asked if they were located where all the shit is at, and then gave em the credit card numbers..
Done.
