    Chicago area shit to do.....

    Hey,

    Im headed out to a convention to Chicago this coming week for Supercomm and wanted to know if anyone in that area has any recomendations on cool shit to do, bars to hit, clubs. etc......

    Whats happenin out there in Chi town?!?!??!?!?!

                  Make sure you do:

                  1. Chicago Pizza
                  2. Chicago Hot Dog (Michael's Preferred) - Get everything on it - onions, pickle, etc.
                  3. Cubs game

                      If you like the mainstream club scene, go to Rush and Division. Lots of college type places as well, but some big clubs. Check out Jillians and hang out with wanna-be gangsters (and a few real ones).

                      If you like the alternative club scene, head over to Lakeview. Most of the goth/alt/metal/raver scene is in the same area. Some good rock clubs, too.

                      If you like the gay scene, head over to The Man Hole on North Halstead Ave - the whole area about a mile north of Belmont.

                      If you like Blues, head to Kingston Mines about a mile south of Belmont on North Halstead - awesome club. Many other blues clubs in town.

                      Any cab driver will know all these places.
