What kind of ratio can i expect on the freesignups, both email signups and cc signups with general TGP traffic?

i had pushed them for over a year and averaged a 1:8 ratio. that ratio dropped to 1:15 and then 1:20 so i stopped pushing them in january.
i just started pushing them again this week and so far, over the last 4 days, my average ratio is 1:5.
so they rock for me
(i'm talking about the email program)

i used to promote them back in 01, and converted like 1:8 then. and i saw on another board, someone posted their stats for the same program, and got a decent ratio and email signups.
needless to say, i paired back up with an 'old friend'

text links are your friend. i find a good text link draws better than a banner.
with a link like that, your overall clickthrus may drop, but your signups will be a lot higher and your ratio will be a lot better. it's basically pre-qualifying your traffic.
i'd also suggest making it stand out a little more from the other links on the page. either change the font color for the link or bold it.

thats what i always, and still, do. i write text links that would work on me (which is damn near impossible). just write what you would want to be told. its as simple as that.
that works like a fuckin charm everytime.

Yeah, just one though, don't know the convertion, not my account. Just started doing this TGP (updates), somebody else does the trades. In time we would like to get three boob TGP's up, this one should reach 100k uni in abput 4 to 6 weeks.Originally posted by smack
