AMSTERDAM - The leaseholder of the farm shed where three women were raped
and forced to have sex with animals - and escaped before potentially being
killed in a snuff film - has been ordered by Lelystad Court to vacate the
premises within two weeks.
The 46-year-old lessee, Eduard van E., of Rotterdam, had refused to
voluntarily vacate the shed in the rural village of Kraggenburg in the
north-east of the Netherlands, prompting the owner, G. Tissingh, to take
the matter to court in bid to end the rental contract.
The owner was unaware of the illegal activities and that took place in the
shed and was swamped by nosy "tourists" and journalists after the public
revelations of pornography, rape and animal sex, news agency nu.nl reported
on Wednesday.
The judge said a quick eviction is justified, because Van E. did not act as
a good lessee. The owner of the shed leased the premises to him because the
Rotterdam man had a welding and construction company.
But the sadomasochistic practices that Van E. has reportedly confessed took
place in the shed breached the conditions laid out in the contract, the
court ruled. The lessee was also ruled accountable for the negative
publicity around the shed and its owner.
If Van E. refuses to vacate the shed within 14 days, the owner can then
call in the police to force his eviction
