Miss Universe gives the wrong idea

Ok,

so Miss Canada is really pretty, that's great. However on a larger scale it does not show which country has prettier women. I live in canada and have been in europe eastern and western, and let me tell you something.

Women in Canada in their majority on average are ugly fat ass cows with major attitude.

On the other hand if you go to greece, average women there are as hot as the hottest ones in canada. Let's not get started on women from hungary or Czech republic. So fuck the miss universe bullshit, don't even for a second think that if you live in canada you're blessed with prettier women, it's all a useless marketing show

no but most people would be lead to believe that since the canadian broad is soo hot, she was chosen among a population of many beautiful women like herself.

yea, you're comparing olympics that have been around for thousands of years to some little show that people came up with. that's really smart. i'm sure olympics are used to market products, just look at all the people buying discus, spears and curling stones for their daughters

They're used to market everything...shoes, drinks, foods, equipment, credit cards, cars, hotels, cruises, etc. Have you never watched? They were first aired on tv in the 60's, and they've been used to sell a lot of things since then. I don't think they do a very good job ov it (TV networks generally los emoney airing the Olympics) but they do it nonetheless.
