Well then thanks anyway for the totally useless thread. You told us nothing new. Of course it's a marketing gimmick. Of course it doesn't reflect on Canada as a whole. And of course it doesn't mean that on average, Canadian women are "better" than any place else.
But since you mentioned it, would you not agree the Olympics are nothing more than a marketing machine now? How about the World Cup? I could go on and on ... so no, the Miss Universe pageant proves nothing. Most adults know that.
