    Who here likes to surf? I'm thinking off putting together a 5 day surf trip in Panama. I don't know if you all are aware or not but this is one of the top countries in the world for surfing.



    It's been a long time for me but that doesn't mean I can't get out there and try my damndest. Plus we'll have a whole lot of fun.

    I'm thinking of a trip where we hit 3 or 4 different beaches over a 5 day span.

                                      Panama would be between Costa Rica and Colombia. A plane ticket to go there runs between 350 and 1000 dollars depending on where you are. Hotels, food and beer are so cheap they are almost free. The key is just getting here.

The nicests months in Panama are January through April but it isn't that bad the rest of the time. The only thing about January through April is that it never rains those months. The sky is just completely blue. The only downside with doing it in February that I can see is that it is so far away.

                                                                                              We could also shoot for something like November and risk the rains.

What you said is true if you are going for the big waves like the one in my first post. Personally, I'd rather have the 5 footers with the long rides. That's why I think we could rent a bus for 5 days and hit beach after beach. There will be something for everyone.
