it's not that weird... she's just sending you a romantic message, that's all (or at least looks like it).
the reasons may be two (excluding the monetary):
1. she is still in love with you, which is an interesting proposition having in mind that you haven't heard from her in so many years.
2. she's getting desperate about the whole marriage situation, and is looking through her diary trying to assess the posibilities/options she might have with previous boyfriends.
