Almost anyone can be...
ok, granted, not Glamour or Elle kind of modeling, but photographers need subjects, and the more varied their portfolios, and the more flexibility they show in their skills, the better chances they have of getting work.
Also, the standard model types are being used a bit less in advertising due to the power of the "average jane's" dollar. Some chicks gotta have something to bitch about, and a favorite hot topic is how "unrealistic" representations of women are ruining our children's self-esteem and leading to eating disorders. (Not saying I personally subscribe to this POV....I'm a big girl, myself, but typical model types don't make me feel bad about myself. I think they make nice eye candy )

Yeah wannabe models are fucking weird.
I've seen some that will stuff a giant dildo into themselves or do girl/girl for a photographer, but won't so much as say "hello" to a video camera.
WTF is up with that??

I love it when girls put their omp profiles and they are 5'2" 140 lbs and want to only do print or high fashion.

Anyways, 90% of those chicks have no clue as to what they are talking about..

Can you believe that we actually found a model there. She did not to hc or much pink, but at the time, we did not need it. She did 3 hours at 80 per. and that was that!

Problem is, a new model on OMP, who says she does nudes, gets many 100 emails, mostly from guys with $100 cameras. At least that is the way it is in Toronto.

They get turned off real fast.

I've actually had great success with OMP over the years. We've shot almost all of the girls here in Vancouver that list themselves as "Adult Performers" in their profiles so I have no complaints about it.

What I discovered as well is that since OMP really isn't an "Adult Industry" model resource site and caters 99% to the mainstream modeling world, alot of girls on there WILL do some form of adult related stuff, even though they don't neccessarily list that in their profile.
The trick is to find the ones that put "nude", Art nude", and "lingerie" in thier profile, and contact them via a very generic, "would you ever, or have you ever considered modeling or performing in Adult related photos or videos?" sort of email...
You'd be surprised at how many do, ir at least show some interest in getting more info on it.

OMP is a good resource if taken as it is and used properly.
