My hunny and my brother are both in the AF. Unlike, most people here they are pro Bush and the decsions he has made.

I have one friend in the airforce and one in the navy. I was thinking that they would be safe until I saw on CNN that the are making the airforce drive trucks for haliburton

Truck drivers in Haliburton make like 250k, isnt that what one of the hostages (beheadings) was? A fucking truck driver???

I have a cousin who turned 21 in iraq.

It burns me inside knowing this kid is there, risking his life for fucking oil, meanwhile Cheney and haliburton rake in MILLIONS AND MILLIONS while the REAL SOLDIERS have to buy their own gear.

fuck haliburton contractors.

we should leave them there and bring back our troops,...

My cousin is in the army, currently in Iraq and his wife recently gave birth to their child.

You can imagine he's not thrilled that he hasn't met his baby yet.

I've got 6 cousins in the military. None are in Iraq but 2 were in Afghanistan. I also have 8 friends who are in the navy in special forces who have been away for the las 4 years. Some of the navy boys are very pro bush but the others just wanna come home and be with their families.

Originally there were only army toops that would escort the Haliburton trucks, but due to the beheadings, etc, too many independant contractors pulled out, so the gov't brought in the boys from the airforce to drive. I coldn't agree more with you that this is a total screwjob- american soldiers driving ang guarding trucks of a private company, getting paid not even a quarter what the contractors were making, and then the american gov't still pays haliburton outrageous trasportation fees- what a joke.
