I think there's a big difference between showing excitement over reaching an accomplishment and bragging.
When somebody first starts doing well and they get to the point that they can buy their "dream items", I don't think there's anything wrong with them telling their friends and showing off what they were able to do. Actually I think thats great, it makes me happy for them.
A friend of mine just graduated college and received some very nice gifts from his family, when he told me about all of the gifts I didn't think for one minute that he was bragging. He was just excited, and I was too, I know how hard he worked for it.
I think the same applies for making money. If someone builds up their business to the point that they can buy a nice house, I expect them to be happy and I even expect them to show it off a little bit. Its a big accomplishment. Now, if they go on to buy a second or third house and still show the same excitement, thats moving into the "bragging" realm.
A lot of people get jealous when they see others succeed. I don't. I get ambitious.
