first we get the flaming cat - and all the controversy there. personally i was disgusted by it but after thinking about it and reading rick comments i came to SOMEWHAT agree with him.
then the trogan stuff happened - then the accusing, then finding the real culprit - then appologising, and all the crap around this...
today was rick latona's day on gfy, and i think he came out on top. he stood up for what he believed in, and he fucked up, but more than anything he showed he was human and in the end his true colors came out and they looked pretty good.

I know we discussed the issue of limits on doing a joint venture on that site deal. I understand why you couldn't agree to where the line would be drawn. I hope you understand why I couldn't do that deal without a line being drawn. No hard feelings. It would have been a huge moneymaker I'm sure. I probably passed on over a million dollars long term by deciding as I did.
But I worry about stuff like that. I know you don't and that's your right. I don't need or want the aggravation and hassles of pushing the line anymore. You're young. I'm old. I did that in my 20's like you, made a lot of money but ended up getting an AG knocking on my door and wanting to nail me with $75,000 a day obscenity fines for every day we didn't comply with their C & D order. Fuck that bullshit. Fuck worrying about religious freaks protesting with big signs outside your home telling all your neighbors you're in the porn biz.
After that experience, I went low key and came to the conclusion it is wiser to have lines in business. The downside of really pushing the limits on things can be a very expensive process and cause a lot of damage to one's business, reputation, and straddle you with ridiculous legal expenses defending yourself. I was so visible in adult years back we'd get all sorts of religious weirdos mailing us death threats and hate mail. And our stuff was mild compared to todays stuff.
Yeh I forgive you, but all I'm asking is at least taper down the entertainment style in which its being presented. I read 11 pages of posts on your CJ Forum. A lot of your long time CJ fans even said that was over the line. There was one loose canon that was trying to start a campaign to e-mail all the adult sites that advertiser on there. That amazed me. I'm sure your mailbox and Marc's were jam packed today and you really did have to evaluate this decision.
Just have a heart and at least get rid of the "Hot Pussy" line. The cat that got toasted at least deserves that bit of respect.

I think that video is going to end up causing you a lot of dangerous attention from the extreme kind of animal rights whacko's out there and a lot of problems with government agencies as well when people start bringing that to their attention.
