Sjayne, we were impressed too. It's nice to see them play to their level and giving their best effort. In the past couple of years the players were fighting for a better salary, and better medical insurance, so they didn't play their best, losing games in purpose... they put a lot of pressure on the Federation until they got what they wanted.. that's when they raised their level and won the remaining games that got them into the World Cup.
The draw wasn't easy, they had to play Italy and Croatia (third place in the last World Cup). To be honest with you, I didn't think they would make it to the second round.. I'm glad they proved many people wrong

..it'll be interesting to see how far they can go.
Brazil will play England? England is playing more impressive than the South Americans. I'll put my money on your adopted country
You mention tennis.. are you a tennis fan? I spent my last summer vacation in europe, and was in London during the first week of Wimbledon.. I wanted to attend it sooo bad, even when I didn't have tickets and time for it. The tickets are almost impossible to get! ..I've heard of people sleeping on the sidewalk just to buy tickets the following day. Tickets for the US Open are easier to get. Some call it the british Super Bowl.. lol
