Conversation with a good friend about making money.

Just got off the phone with a good friend of mine that like most of us does his on thing to get by. I thought the convo was funny and all to accurate.

"My friend asked me today why I always have money in my pocket and he's always broke. I told him to come ride around with me for the day and he'd know why. He told me he can't because he has to wash his car.

I told him that my car needs to be washed too but I'll just pay someone to do it while I'm making money. He got mad."

Just my pointless thread of the day.

    Cheers.

"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

This is not pointless. This is true and ever-present in today's world. People say they want to do things, but never do. Seriously, money aside, how many people say they are going to: Go skydiving, try surfing, look for a new job, travel the world, save money...etc. Then you offer help and they have an excuse. It is amazing.

            so fucking true!

I have loads of friends who want to earn more.... but don't have the time to listen!

ever had someone ask for advice and then don't listen to it? Unreal! You hand it to them on a golden platter... and they refuse to even listen to what you have to say.

"sorry, don't have time today must wash car" "no that doesnt work, I'm going to do it my way" "blablabla"

It is hard for people to grasp(or accept) the concept of your time being more valuable then the cost of 'outsourcing' certain chores/tasks,etc.
As many in the thread said, people want help, but it is hard for them to change and accept a new point of view.
