    Just watched footage from The Getaway for PS3

    It was simply the most amazing video game footage i have ever seen...

    ...But the question is...They came out with amazing game footage for ps2...teh game never saw the light of day til it was about 2 years late....and even then it was sub part. Will the same thing happen with the PS3 version

    This is the same video i think they showed on G4TV and the president of PR for Sony got caught up in a lie saying it was actual game play then the host actually pulled out of him it was CG rendered and he said it was what they would like the game to look like when it comes out retail

      Even if its nothing more than CG movies...its still pretty cool to look at

          I hate that they show cut scenes for previews of these games... any system out today can play any cut scene they make.
          It's the game play that needs to be judged.

          For that I was very impressed with Halo 2 when they first gave the world a sneak peak... it was a cut scene into game play and was seemless.

          If the new systems do that more often, then I'll be really impressed.

            Yeah, they've always did this with new games on new machines.

            I never judge a game by some video footage which clearly isn't in-game footage...

              They may over hype it a bit but its still going to be a nice game console.

                  same here, and I start to wonder who actually falls for prerendered scenes...
                  it must be just to generate some initial interest for the titles via game previews on the web.

                  but besides that I believe that the PS3 has enough power to deliver what is promised by for example the first gran turismo 5 promo vids.
