The issue is that ASACP appears legally not to be able to do the following at this time:
* Accept a donation in kind and give anb amount certain write off in exchange
* Acquire non operating related assets
* Appraise gifts that are not cash
My suggestion is for the good of the community you just redirect the site in question to http://www.ASACP.org.
Again thanks for your time and efforts. In the future you might consider to contact http://www.ASACP.org prior to what is known legally as "self help" in this field because of the way laws are written.

Do NOT jump to the conclusion that ASACP is 'not serious' or that 'politics' has anything at all to do with this. As Gary just pointed out, there are very, very good reasons why ASACP could not accept Rick's offer.
Rick... you're being opportunistic (which is fine) and fucking with the reputation of an organization that is VERY important and VERY effective at protecting children from abuse (which is NOT at all fine).
