    Hey all,

    I was getting ready to install a new content management system and ... well it fell through. So now i am looking for suggestions from you all. I will probably use it as a basis and have our programer add in all the added tid bits i want.

    Let me know if you have used any and what you like and don't like about them.

    Thanks a million,
    Megan

      icq: 135982156 or email aftershockmedia @ gmail.com if you desire a walk though of adultwebware.
      Most everyone who has compared AWW with the other 2-3 big CMS system out there have chosen AWW.

          Before you consider any CMS options, do your research, especially before considering sitedepth. I've spent the last few months writing a custom CMS to replace features not present in SiteDepth, and many other CMS systems. Here's a brief list of the options I've put into my CMS (called XXX CMS):

          * Multiple Site support
          * Message Board
          * Member Profiles
          * Centralized content area
          * Auto-thumbnailing of Movies and Pictures
          * Auto-releasing of content
          * News Bulletins
          * Multiple Admin login support
          * Member hit tracking
          * Download tracking, bandwidth reports
          * Password trading detection
          * Extremely flexible Template design (built in Editor)
          * Pic/Vid of the Day (both customized and from the content Database)
          * much much more!

          A demo of the software will be up within the next few days, we are currently beta testing on a large site. Very comparible to features found in MAS, but so much cheaper!!! Contact me on ICQ if it interests you. Again, I never intended to develop this for profit, but it's gotten bigger and better than I expected it to, so I am selling it. Price will be from $500 - $1000 per copy. ALL Source code is included (you can customize it yourself if need be!)

                  OK, I'm in the market to buy NOW. Show me a program that will let me rock without having to jump through hoops.

                  Have tons of content already in protected folders for my content store. We're opening numerous websites, with new ones monthly. All my sites are on the same server that I own.

                  I don't want to re-upload my content to 2 or 3 various places, or change all the folders I have a terabite of content on.

                  I'd like to upload the content once, to my existing location for my store, go to an admin and say: add this set to this site on this date, and to another site on another date.

                  Which program does this?

                    I always roll my own for whatever I do. Its not all that hard to do, and you get a lot more flexibility and speed.

                        sounds good at that price. auto-thumbnailing blows - thumbs usually look like hell done server side - can u crop the thumbs individually?
                        I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!
