I've had girls try to hit me before. I'm a non violent passive sort of guy, I just grab their wrists so they can't make any further contact with my body. I have to grip pretty hard so it probably hurts them a bit, but doing that usually cools down the situation quickly.
I'm a big guy (6'6) but I'm not the worlds strongest man by any means, I'm sure there are plenty of females that could kick my backside.
If the above trick didn't work then of course I would have to defend myself.

My first wife was latin and had a big time temper when she got mad. This was when I was in my early 20's and I should never have gotten married yet. Anyway by the 2nd year it was turning into a nightmare and I couldn't deal with it any more and told her I wanted a divorce. The fact that yuo are smaller than him really shouldn't have a lot to do with it. I am not going to go into the whole 'this situation, that situation' scenarios, but a women of your size shoudl obviously realise you should not pick a fight with a guy who is 6ft 4.
