    Was I going too fast??

    I got a 2003 Honda Civic EX and this is only how fast it will go downhill on the PA Turnpike!!

    Anybody know of any mods I can put on it to make it do 150 on level ground? I'm a noob at the whole custom car thing.

          Yeah I know what ya mean, but I like the fact it gets 30+ miles per gallon. Is there anything I can do to it to make it go faster but maintain or even increase the mileage?

                              Actually, one day on the PA turnpike I went by a cop doing like 105, I was like OH SHIT!!! I saw him swing out and I slowed down to like 60, and sure enough he flew up behind me. I knew he was pissed. He came up to the window and was like "Are you fuckin stupid going that fast?!" Long story short, he asked me a few times how fast I was going, and I knew exactly how fast I was going, but I was just like "I don't know". Get this, I GOT A WARNING!!!! I was doing over 100 and didn't get a ticket!! I am guessing he got a ghost reading on his radar, and/or this cop was COOL AS HELL!!! I was acting scared and apologetic so who knows, I guess I was super-lucky!

                                                  Hondas are good cars but you will never feel like your going fast, Besides top speed.

                                                  Ive seen 750+ hp civics but the torque was always 35-45% less.
                                                  Anyway, you can prolly get a chip which will remove the speed limiter on your stock ECU and allow you to kick higher on the topend.

                                                  If your willing to drop a couple K, go for a turbo.

                                                  Ps. hondas can be very fast if tuned properly...but they will always seem soso from the cockpit since the TQ numbers just aren't there.

                                                              I have a Honda Civic and while it's a great car in terms of reliability it doesn't have power nor speed. The civics simply don't have that if that's what you're looking for. If that's what you want get a Toyota. Same price, same everything, but more power, more speed.
