    Here are the rules...

Holio?s First Fried Chicken and No Limit Texas Hold ?em Tournament

    Where and When:

Saturday Afternoon July 31st at 1:00. Food will be served at 12:30 AM.
    23241 Ventura Blvd Suite 218
    Woodland Hills Ca, 91364

    818-917-2876 or 818-223-8520

    Buy-in:

    ? $100 buy-in (100 players max.)
    ? 1 Rebuy $100.00 and 1 Add On $100.00
? Start with $2000 in chips.

    Rebuy Rules:

? If you go below 500 in chips at anytime in the first hour, you will able to do a rebuy for $100.00. You will get 1500 in tournament chips.
? During the break, you can do an add on and buy 2000 tournament chips for $100.00. You may only do this once, and if you want to, please leave your money under your chips and a Tournament Official will come around and take your money and give you the chips.

    Setup:

? (Each table will have a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 8)
? Table positions will be randomly drawn prior to the start of play.
? Deal of first hand will be determined by high card prior to play and will rotate clockwise using two decks.
? Start time of tournament will be as close to 1 P.M. as possible: Late players will be blinded off until either they show up or chips are gone.
? Once play commences blinds & limits will rise every 30 minutes. (See table below)
? Minimum bet is equal to the big blind.
? On final table, blinds will rise one level each time a player drops from the table, regardless of the time.

    Play:

? Standard Texas Hold ?em rules apply. (No wild cards.)
? If a player goes ?all in? a side pot will be created with any subsequent bets.
? The deal will be as follows: Two cards to each player, burn one card, three cards for the flop, burn one card, one card for the turn, burn one card & one card for the river.
? The deal will begin with the player to the left of the dealer.
? Blind bets to open (known as ?blinds?) will be required of the two players to the left of the dealer; the player to the immediate left will be the small blind (lower of the two blinds ? see table) and the player two seats over will be the big blind (higher of the two blinds- see table). (When the game gets down to the final two players, the dealer will be the small blind and the other player will be the big blind.) Note: Each player must open in the first round with an amount equal or greater to the big blind or fold, beginning with the player to the left of the big blind.
? If a misdeal happens prior to the flop, the bets will be withdrawn and the hand will be re-dealt. If a misdeal happens after the flop, play will continue with the exposed card being burned and a new card dealt. If a card is exposed it will be shown face up to all of the players at table and then turned face down and burned.
? If a player?s card is exposed during the deal, it will become the first burn card and the player will be dealt a new card- no exceptions.

    Rules Addendum

    1. Split Pots (odd chip): if there is an odd chip on a split pot it goes to the first player left of the dealer involved in the split.
    2. Deal: No pre-dealing of the board.
    3. Cards Play: Cards determine the strength of the hand. Verbal declarations will be ignored.
    4. Mucking Cards: Once cards are mucked (or touching the muck) they are dead and ineligible to win the pot.
    5. Showing Cards: Do not show your cards to anyone at the table that is still in the hand. (If shown to one, must be shown to all). If a tournament official rules that a player did this intentionally, that player will receive a 10 minute penalty and not be able to play any hands, including his/her blinds.
    6. Showdown: The player who leads the betting on the last betting round must show their cards. All other players may muck their cards at that point. Any player may ask to see any mucked cards from any player that called the last bet.
    7. Chip Race: When the game reaches $25 - $50 all of the $5 chips on the table will be bought off. All leftover chips (at each table) will be placed in the center of the table. Players will be given one card (face up) for each chip. High card will win the pot.
    8. Misdeals: If a card goes off the table when the dealer is dealing the players their two cards, it is a misdeal and that card will be burned. (Note: if a card touches the player it is intended for and then is exposed, it is NOT a misdeal.)
    9. Multiple Exposed Cards: If two (2) or three (3) cards are exposed during the initial deal then all of those cards will be the burn cards. If more than three (3) cards are exposed during the initial deal than all the cards will be collected and the hand will be re-dealt.
    10. Raising: No string bets. If you are raising, you must put the call and raise out at the same time. You cannot put out a call and then go back to your stack for a raise. Verbal raises and calls will be honored. (If your bet is too large to be handled all at once, give a verbal raise and the amount and then handle the chips.)

A muck is all the cards that are unused from the deck, Everyone at the table gets dealt 2 cards, then 5 cards are placed face-up on the center of the table. Everyone makes their hands from those 7 total cards. Everything else is put into a pile face down on the table. That is the muck. If you throw your cards into the muck they are dead, and can not be played. You have folded your hand.
