Everything you mentioned has a lot to do with parenting. Those kids that go shooting up schools usually have parents that don't have a clue what they're kids are doing. They don't check their kids to see if they're doing drugs and they don't notice that cache of guns under their kids bed.

Kids are kids... and need to be treated in a way that will make them grow into healthy young adults.

Kids that are raped growing up rarely do the same thing to others. They are however, often traumatized or 'fucked up'. Oprah was raped as a child. Like most rape victims she turned out fine. But again, if they're being tied up and raped by their parents that's a parenting issue. Parents raping their kids will likely produce screwed up kids. That has everything to do with parenting. Bad parenting.
