As a parent you always let the parent handle the situation. If that bus driver had told me what happend with my child nad how he acted my son would have got a first class ass whippin in front of those other kids! He wouldnt be able to sit for a week! You don't talk to grown up like that and you dont touch others people kids like that! Kids will be kids and you have to remember that there kids, they act different in certain company. My Son acts totally different towards his mother (were divorced) than he does with me and she knows it. Kids are smart and know what they can get away with other people. I don't even let my own family members spank or hit my boy, thats my job I'm his father and he will suffer the concequences through me or his mother, PERIOD!
