All you SEO Experts, figure this one out

O.K, here's one for all you SEO experts. I ran into this site this morning on google, and I have been studying it for hours since. For the life of me, this one has me stumped. There's obviously some very skilled SEO miracle workers behind these pages.

So, how about it...anyone want to offer their thoughts on how they are doing it:

    http://www.seocount.com/lavalife/ (#3 position for lavalife)
http://www.seocount.com/fossil-watches/ (#2 position for fossil watches)
    http://www.seocount.com/peoplepc/ (#2 position for peoplepc)
http://www.seocount.com/angel-perfume/ (#5 position for angel perfume)

As far as I can detect, all of the pages follow completely ethical techniques for SEO.

Well, they have a ton of links coming in.

          http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=ut...w.seocount.com

97,000 backlinks. As you can see, most look either purchased, or part of a link network. Nothing shady as far as I can see. However, Google has been cracking down on link networks and paid links a lot.

But here's where it gets interesting again. In the last 5 minutes I have gone to the first 20 backlinks listed for http://seocount.com/lavalife/
So far, I haven't found this url listed on any of the backlink pages. And according to the dates beside some of the backlinks, these were last updated yesterday.

O.K., I have now found one common link on many of the pages:

                    http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/

Going to research this one a bit more.

If you look at each page then they have a significant number of in-bound links probably achieved through a link trade network somewhere! Google is currently dancing just now those serps may hold they may not! Just need to wait and see

They have a network of cloaked pages and that's why you don't
see the actual links on the sites linking to them !

What you see when you view source isn't what the search engines see !

I don't think it's cloaked pages. I examined each page using "spider simulator" software. But, I do think it has a lot to do with the link found on most of their backlinks, http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/ad-network/. This is a link trade service that rotates members links at the foot of the page of participating sites. This would explain why I can't find seocount.com's links on any of the backlink pages. They were likely there when google spidered the pages, but not at the moment that I checked them, due to link rotation.

Those pages chimmy has posted aren't cloaked, what chimmy has posted is what Google is seeing, those rankings have been achieved from:
