I agree. If Shaq comes back strong, they should win the series. Detroit has a good defense but Miami is not far behind. The main difference in the series will be Miami's ability to run the break but also score in a half court offense. Detroit has problems if they get slowed down to a half court offense and they will have to rely solely on their defense. Should go 6 or 7 games making it a good series.Comment

This series reminds of last years finals. And Detroit beat the Lakers pretty easily because they had nothing beyond Shaq and Kobe
Who else do the Heat have? Damon Jones? He couldn't get off the bench in Detroit. Billups will use him up. E. Jones? Prince is much better at both ends of the court. Haslem? Heh, heh, you're kidding right?
People bad mouth Detroits bench, but it's mostly because Brown doesn't play them much. McDyess and Arroyo get the job done enough when they're in there. I don't see Miami having an edge there either.Comment

I hate Detroit, but no one can beat them in a 7 game series. They are by far the most well rounded and deepest team in the league.
To many of you have forgot what this same Detroit team did to Shaq last year. They shut him down making him a total none factor. Detroit has his number and Miami isnt anywhere as a deep of a team as the Lakers were last year. Yet with the additions of McDyees and Aroya (spelling) Detroit is deeper and stronger then they were last year.

The Lakers didnt get to the finals last year because they have a bunch of "arrogent" players. They got there because they were a great team. Pistons, were just WAY better.
