You seem to be taking this a bit too personally.
as a business man I can respect all effective forms of marketing. As a consumer though - there are types of messages and mediums that I prefer over others.
Just so happens that I don't respond well to phone calls from strangers. In fact I would go so far as to say that I hate it... and I decide not to put my money into businesses that do it to ME.
Your point that Every company does - is well taken. That's fine. Hell I want them to - as a stockholder - It makes me more money.
