Amongst my fondest memories were Thursday nights with Dokk and a great group of people...
We had a kick ass time....Dokk made it possible for us to form pretty close alliances and friendships....
Not only that, when he hosted the AWE shows, they also rocked....
So, there's no ass kissing going on....Dokk's a good guy with a great big heart. He's helped an awful lot of people, including me.....
So, hugs to ya, Dokk...and whatever you need!Raven

This is encouragement for a guy who has been around from the beginning. He is an icon!
In the early days Dokk was a search engine guru (among other things) - he helped many a 'newbie get their feet on the ground. Many that are ole timers now....
He developed the first Webmaster radio, and entertained & educated us for years. He developed the trips to 'island paradise - which many of us remember fondly. He DJ'd at some of the memorable webmaster events. ...and the list goes on...
The tragedy of his family life & pressures of his business life became too much for him. We watched him self destruct in front of our eyes.... we knew he needed help & disappeared to find it.
and now he is back... trying to make ammends.... no there is no ass-kissing here... there is just encoragement to one hell of a nice guy who helped others for many years., and now has to learn 'to help himself.Comment

We bought two domains back in January and planned sites around them. We never have been able to get the domains transferred over and we are very worried as the whois on them doesn't seem to be the same as the seller we had bought them from.
I can only hope we are not going to have to go through a court or Icann process on this. This has been very bad news for us, and the worst episode we have gone through this year.Comment

For those that don't know Dokk, he's one of the coolest, nicest guys you'll ever meet. Dokk engineered my live radio show for years and always did a fantastic job and he's fuckin' hilarious to work with.

I agree with you all, dokk is great he WAS an icon, but how long do you wait before getting pisseed about a great nice guy who helps everyone out when he is ripping you off? he owes me thousands of dollars for domains I bought and would not transfer over.
So keep on giving props, but until he makes right on all the people he owes domains and money to, I wouldn't do biz with him.

Gleem - come back in two weeks & let us know if you heard from him. You have waited this long, a couple of more weeks won't make much difference? We are all rooting for Dokk & hope he can work out his problems. (as I am sure that is what you want to) Rome wasn't built in a day & recovery is a slow process too. We all hope he can work through this, in a timely manner.Comment
