Yeah it's pretty sad to see these people so deceived or being so deceptive, whatever the case.
I respect someone arguing passionately for their position, but I find it nearly impossible to believe that some of these senators actually believe what they've been saying.

I think all they are voting for is to whether or not to even have a vote on it.

A lot of the Democrat senators really don't want to touch this thing now because they would have to show their cards before election time.

Yeah, they could vote Yes to continue the debate about it, or No to drop it entirely. I hope they vote No because this is clearly not an issue that is top-of-mind for the american people.

This is yet another attempt by politicians to make an issue become a children's issue. They figure that people are more likely to pay more attention to issues which affect their children.

The current issue of Mad Magazine has the best explanation why people are up in arms over the gay marriage issue.

Also, the world has come to an end already. Evidence: Porsche makes a SUV, and it is their biggest seller.
